These nuts have been soaked and partially germinated before being dehydrated. This process removes bitter-tasting phytates which have been shown to block the assimilation of some vitamins and minerals in raw nuts. Right before they are dehydrated, the almonds and cashews are coated in an irresistible blend of ginger, maple, and wheat-free tamari. All of the nuts are soaked in water overnight. During this time, amazing dormant enzymes and nutrients are activated and existing fats are transformed into healthier amino acids.
